I began programming at about the age of 11-12. I wrote basic programs on my fathers TRS80-Model ][. I then progressed to a C-64, programmed in basic, moved on to compiled
basic, then settled on assembly. I eventually bought an Amiga-500 (wonderful machines) and started to learn C. I am now experienced in C, C++, x86 assembly, VB, MFC, among other
things. Currently I work for an E-Commerce company called E-Maxx (www.e-maxx.com).In my spare time I work on my own software
projects, some of them see the light of day, others are not so fortunate. I am hoping to put some of my projects up on this site. As far as programming is concerned I am of the
belief that if one has sufficient problem solving skills, then languages become unimportant. I believe that although it can be more attractive to use a language you are familiar with
on a project, it is not always the best way. I do not learn 100% of any given language I use. I only learn what is neccessary to get the job done. Taking this approach I have
been exposed to a tremendous amount of technology. If you were wondering, I also do graphic arts work. I designed all the graphics on this site. I may not be a picasso, but my
skills have allowed me to take projects (java videogames etc..) from design to completion without outsourcing the art. Hope you enjoy the site. |
