Q: Why did you write Depg?
A:   I have been using video capture to record shows and wanted an electronic programming guide that would work similair to TIVO, but I wanted it to be web-accessable so I could schedule programs from anywhere.  Being a software developer I decided to just write my own.

Q: Is Depg Free?
A:  Yes it is.

Q:  Why Is Depg Free?
A:  Because if I charged for it I would have to answer every little bug report, installation problem or add features.  I do not have enough time for this.

Q:  Do you get paid for working on Depg?
A:  No I dont, hence why I do not respond to emails regarding support issues.

Q:  What is Depg written in?
A:  Depg is completely written in C++ using MS VC++ 6.0.

Q:  Since Depg is free is it opensource as well?
A:  No the sourcecode is not availalbe, and I will not be releasing it.
